Fireplace Switch on 2019 Cherokee 274

2019 Cherokee 274 DBH Limited. My fireplace and Microwave are not working. I do not have a switch in my cabinet under stereo. I have looked everywhere in the cabinet and camper for that matter to find this switch. I pulled the microwave and it works but outlet is dead. Microwave works in outlet by the sink. All fuses and breakers are good. GFI is good also. Anybody have any other ideas where they might have stuck this switch. Thanks in advance.

doubtful it's an actual physical switch, but probably a built-in relay that only allows the microwave's outlet to 'work' if the fireplace is OFF, since they probably share the same breaker in the main panel...

some folks like this, some don't... I would rather the fireplace be the appliance that doesn't 'work' while the microwave is ON, since that's normally a rather short timeframe... maybe you can find the relay, maybe near the fireplace, or behind the main breaker panel, and switch 'which' one is always powered(the microwave!).

I would think it's near the microwave, but that's just a guesstimate, maybe it's in the 'main panel', where other switches might be, or even under the sink : /

How did you verify this? look for a breaker labeled fireplace or Microwave. Turn it OFF then ON. Also remove the panel cover and measure voltage at the breakers with a multi-meter. Tighten all screws while your in there.

Fuses are 12 volts. Not your problem here.

Checked main panel, didnt see one under the sink. The tech said the switch is in the entertainment stand or possibly by microwave. Might be internal relay somewhere. Every breaker has juice and all fuses are good so I am lost. Not worth the four hour drive to go to dealer yet. Going to head up there in May when warranty is about to expire.

Used a multi-meter on each breaker. Breaker is labeled microwave but also run the fireplace.

Very good. A lot of people say "checked the breakers" by Looking at them.
There is a relay in play here. You just have to locate where they hid it. It will be behind some accessible panel. Not plain sight. Being 120 volts it will be in a j-box of some sort. Assuming it is 20 amps, look for a yellow Romex. Behind a drawer, under a drawer.

Mine is next to my awning switch. It’s a regular toggle switch.

Found Issue

I recently had this same issue when my RV got plugged into a heater outlet that was 220 volts. It fried the Energy Management switch which is on the back of the power center. My switch is a WFCO EM-15. It got totally fried and almost started on fire. I am currently trying to find a replacement but it is a special order from the dealership.

No switch

Mine does not have a switch either, it is only a box. It only allows one devise to be used at a time (either the fireplace or the Microwave).
