Just wanted to share this. I put two stacking shelves together and then zip tied a basket to the top for smaller things. Also found this pull out basket so it's easier to get to our dry food storage. My husband had to attach a block of wood to the bottom so it would be tall enough to slide out, but it also balances the weight that is in there. I don't have a pic, but we also got two spice racks from ikea and had to modify them slightly, but they fit on the door to hold my spices and wine glasses.

My DW found these storage containers that fit perfectly into our Dometic refrigerator / freezer. They are microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe. They click shut and are leak proof. They come in three sizes. She found them at the Dollar store.
Those would make it easy to go from house to camper. You could divide up meats, veggies and fruits. I like to prep food as much as I can before a trip too, so I'm not stuck in the kitchen!
That's exactly what she did. Turkey in one, ham in another, cut up carrots, celery, radishes etc. Filled them up a few days before, stored them in our home ref and when time to leave, put them cold in the Dometic. If we had any leftovers, in the containers they went. It was a "snap", pun intended.
