Forest River Grey Wolf 26DBH Propane Question

Hi,

New to the site. Purchase a 2014 Grey Wolf 26DBH last year. One of the features this unit has is there is a pipe that tee's from the propane tanks. The dealer told me its so I can hook up a grill on the side and use the tanks already on the travel trailer.

I am wondering what parts I need to hook this propane pipe into a standard grill and make it work correctly?

Thanks

I can't recall my own 26dbh having a tee in there anyplace. Yours may well be dealer installed, which would make your dealer the best one to ask that question. Or post photos...

Or you could buy one that is intended for camping - - see camping world or your dealer

Unless you can buy a low pressure grill most grills won't work. The supply from trailer is regulated and most grills have a regulator, so now you have 2 regulators in line. As far as the hose goes if you buy a low pressure grill, they're available at Amazon, camping world, manufacturer etc.
One end will have the quick disconnect for trailer side other end plugs into grill (that's the tricky part)

Sorry misread your post. If supply is from tanks. (Like the "extended stay" system It's much easier to install. You tube will help you greatly

I have a 274 DBH and had the same problem, solved it by removing the regulator on my grill and connecting direct to the quick connect. Now the grill works like it was meant to work!! You have to go to hardware store and buy a few fittings but not hard at all.
