Wiscampsin,
Funny how often my kids and I are excited about the same thing...my wife feels like she's got 5 kids.

Coach,

I pulled it with a 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 with the tow package and 3.42 gears. It did sqaut the rear end some but the weight distributing hitch certainly helped with that. I pulled it about 50 miles to our seasonal site and didn't have any problems.

We pull ours with my 2002 chevy 2500HD 6.0 crew cab. Also have weight distribution hitch. It has no Problems at all, pretty easy to pull.

Matt,
I'm pulling with a similiar set up (2013 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3L with tow package) the weight distribution bars help a ton. Though I've only pulled it about 20 miles.

I'd like to upgrade to a rig like yours down the road...just for ease of mind

Coach twm

i did pull a much smaller camper (21 foot terry expo) with a 2005 gmc 1500 crew cab (5.3). it did the job just fine but i traded it off on a family vehicle. I then went on the hunt for a 3/4 ton which pulled the terry expo like nothing was back there. so next upgrade was to our 26dbh. pulled it home from dealer which was 360 miles from my home. the 3/4 ton made short work of the larger camper. that is important cause when we go to sturgis sd in august the wife will be driving and pulling the camper (i will be riding) and i wanted the set up to be as easy and safe for her as could be. first official trip this weekend. cant wait.
