Grey Wolf 26DBH Exterior Light Not Working

Hello all. I have a brand new 2022 Grey Wolf 26DBH that I took out for the first time this past weekend for Labor Day Weekend with the wife and kids. We absolutely love the trailer! However, I noticed one weird issue with the lighting.

On the main control panel, there’s multiple light buttons (Awning, Exterior, & Living Room). Well, we noticed one night this past weekend that when pressing the button for Exterior Lights, no lights come on outside! When we hit the Awning lights, the blue LED light comes on outside where the awning meets the exterior wall of trailer, but also inside above the slide out. We couldn’t use that light because we had just put our young kids to sleep and the blue LED light inside the trailer surely would have kept them awake. So I was left with no lights outside the trailer. I had to go with the lanterns we brought.

Does anyone know what might cause this problem? Anyone else have this issue? If so, how’d you correct the problem. Thanks in advance!

It sounds like the inside LEDs and the outside LEDs were mistakenly wired up together on one switch.

It would require you to remove the control panel and sort out the wiring issue. Since its covered under warranty the best option is to take it to the dealer (unless that is a long trip for you).

I have a 23DBH and I recently swapped the inside and outside LEDs to a RGB controllable system. I didn't like the blue and wanted to be able to adjust the color and brightness to anything I wanted. So i bought some waterproof LEDs and controllers off Amazon and swapped them all out. Now I can select white or any color and adjust the brightness as well.

Thanks for the idea! I wasn’t sure if it was fuse-related issue since all the other lights seem to work. I need to go back to the dealer (only 20 minutes from my house, fortunately) to have them replace the zebra window shade above the sofa so I’ll have check into the Exterior light situation as well.

The exterior light button turns on a light right above the exterior shower. Next to the slide out on the backside of the trailer Hope this helps.

I tried that, but that’s the case. The small exterior light above the exterior shower has its on light switch on the bottom of the light housing.

I’m dropping off my trailer to the dealer on 9/27 to have them look at the lighting and make sure there’s no issues.
