Grey Wolf Spare Tire Mount
When we purchased our TT it did not come with a spare tire mounted to it. It was located under the front bed on the floor. I've been looking for a mount, but after reading on hear that the rear bumpers are not that strong and mounting a tire on it could damage the trailer, Im leery of where to put it. Other Grey Wolf models had racks with the tire mounted to that, and even some right to the bumper, but not our model. Can anyone give me a good idea or place to mount it.. I hate having it under the bed.

Grey Wolf Spare Tire Mount
I have seen kits that allow you to mount the spare tire under the trailer. I'm serously considering using this to get my spare tire off of my storage rack and out of the sun, plus my cover decided it wanted to no longer cover the tire...

Thanks, I have been looking at one of those under trailer mounts. Looks like they should work good.

Read pimp my 26rr. I put a underneath spare tire under my Grey wolf. It's pretty slick.shows picks and dimensions of where I located it.

Thanks you! You have a ton of interesting mods done, Im really going to look into the drawers under the bed. Not to mention some of the others. Took me some time to make it thru the entire thread, thanks for sharing what you've done.

Thanks we really love the grey wolf. We have not found one we like as much. Especially with the mods it fits our life.

I have a Cherokee 304BH, so it's similar. We use our rear rack for bikes, so I had to take the spare off of it for traveling. Our underbelly is not enclosed, so I bought a regular boat trailer style spare tire mount, and put it underneath on one of the slide support/square tubing. It's over to the side enough that it doesn't interfere with the slide operation, and it's up out of the way. If I ever get a flat, I'll have to crawl on the ground to get it, but it's a small price to pay to have it up out of the way. It's just inside the frame rails and only sticks down about 2" from the frame.
