I believe that the OP has a park model or destination trailer.

Could be that it doesn't have a heating system.

I purchased a new car in January. I didn't realize it didn't have an air conditioner until May. Nowhere does it say I'm a smart buyer. DUH

It does have a heating system...not that it does any good without a controler.

Possibly here

We have a 2008 Cherokee 38P destination trailer. I couldn't find a floor plan for it online, but this is a Cherokee 38BS. The difference is that ours has a huge living room at extends all the way to the front, where there's two closets, a bunch of drawers, and a TV cubby. (The 38BS has a double bed and bunk bed there, seems to sleep five plus 1-2 in the dinette.)

But the center and rear part are the same. I've drawn a red arrow pointing to where the thermostat is on ours. There's maybe a foot of wall between the pantry and door leading to the lavatory and master bedroom. If you leave that door open all the time, you would never see it.

HTH.

EDIT: I just posted pictures of the cabinetry in the front yesterday, here.
