Hooking up 2011 grey wolf 17 foot first time

Was wondering if there's a way to find out the proper way to set up. Also, when do I have to light the pilot light outside/ turn on the electrical switch. And what do they do? (can't find any manuals)

Pilot light for water heater? Not till your at camp, but mines a manual light. I start my fridge the night before (plugged in to elect), then it auto switches over to gas for the short trip to camp site. Not sure if I answered your ?'s

Yes, thanks! So does the pilot light have to be on any time the propane is on?

Are you refering to the pilot light for the water heater? Is yours a manual light or electronic. No, the water heater doesn't need to have the pilot light going when the propane is turned on at the tank(s). Only when your parked and you want hot water do you light the pilot, then your temp sensor will kick on the flame to heat up the water. If you find your water temp is too hot/cool, there is a half moon plastic adjuster with several holes in it that you adjust to set a hotter or cooler water temp.

Welcome to the forum from Spring TX.

Suggest you contact your selling dealer and obtain the manuals for your trailer, you paid for them when you bought it. Surprised your PDI (pre delivery inspection) didn't address the operation of the things in your post. Your dealer should have insisted on a walk through before you left his lot.

Unfortunately I bought it used, at a year old and they didn't have it. I've been trying to find a manual with no success. The PDI was lame and the lady doing the walk through was confused. The pilot light is manual and has an on/off electrical rocker switch next to it. ( located outside the trailer on the drivers side. )
