Thumbs down Issues, Issues, Issues......

Made for a disappointing camping experience. First we had the awning leak, which I had previously asked about/mentioned here. Then a clip broke off the outdoor kitchen's stove so the whole top wobbled. My daughter plugged in her phone charger in the GFCI in the bathroom. When she pulled it out there was a huge arc, it was so bad it blew a chunk out of the prong on her charger. Her charger is toast(we assume) due to the damage it sustained. It looks like it caught fire. The GFCI will not reset. It has a burn spot coming out of one of the prong inserts. Back to the dealer we go! This would all be bad enough, but this weekend was stressful. The groundskeeper at the KOA we stayed at took a shine to our 26y/o DD and he just "popped" up out of "nowhere" many times. He was persistant in wanting her to ride on his golfcart. She began to hide in the camper to avoid him. She told him many times she wasn't interested but he still came around over and over. We weren't really sure what to do about him as we all began to think he was a bit unstable. I'm disappointed that I can't find a place on the KOA website to leave feedback or a review. It's a shame because the campground is really nice. It's clean, quiet, and has decent bath-houses. It has a nice pool and the activities were pleasant for the younger kids. It's located close by so it would be a nice spot to go on quick getaways. But we don't like the idea of going back very much. SO happy to be home!

Go to Camping, Campsites and Campgrounds | KOA Campgrounds and scroll to the bottom. On the left hand side at the bottom of the screen there is a contact us button.

Also you can leave a review of the campground at Reviews of RV Parks and Campgrounds - RV Park Reviews for other RVers to read.

If you were having issues with a groundskeeper at the KOA you could have reported him to the owners of the park. I know some folks won’t do that because they are concerned that complaining about an employee of a park will cause even more problems.

I hope the dealer fixes the problems you have with your trailer to your satisfaction.

Soory about your issues. If you made reservations online, you will get an email requesting you rate your stay. There you should be able to explain your issues.

The arc of the phone charger sounds like it may have had water dripped on it and the GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) did it's job and tripped the outlet rather than sending that shock through the person pulling it out of the wall!
