I have 2018 DBH and was also interested in doing that. There’s s sticker on the wall where to mount the Tv but the sliding doors would hit if there was a standard mount. So I’d like to think a telescopic mount would work. Any ideas or pics of others that have done it would be appreciated as well.
Scroll down in the thread and see how I mounted my tv. Use a scrap piece of wood as a spacer between door and secure to the wall(I used some construction adhesive and lag bolt). Then put your tv mount to the piece of wood.

Not sure if this has been resolved but I installed a mount from the ceiling of my Dbh, where the sticker is. There was a solid surface for me to screw into. You can knock and know where it it’s. I installed this mount and there seemed to be enough wiggle room not to mess it up. Been up a few months with no problems.
