New here about to purchase 2009 26BH

My family has decided to upgrade from pop up. I have found a 2009 Cherokee 26BH. My wife and dad have looked at it and didn't find any issues (water damage, etc...) and it has been under cover it's entire life. Concrete pad with metal roof. The tires and side were exposed but roof well covered. One thing is the owner has not used it in a year. I'm in Arkansas so not real harsh winters either.
I am coming home from my deployment and going to give the final walk around and make a decision on joining this Forest River family or continue my search for a camper.

Anyone have any specifics on this model of issues I should look for? I know tires will need to be replaced sitting that long. And everything such as plumbing will be given the once over. Any other tips would be welcome. I posed in the Welcome Mat and someone suggested I push this over to this sub account.

Hopefully the next time I post, it will be a picture of my camper!

Download this PDI checklist here:

Forest River Forums - Downloads - PDI Checklist

Use it to check out everything. Note that this was written for hybrids (with bunks that fold out sort of like a popup), so some items on the list may not be applicable to your rig. But it's a pretty good list.

When you replace the tires, you may want to search here on the forum for "China bombs" and see what folks are using to replace the cheap Chinese tires most rigs come with. Goodyear Endurance (just came out in the last year or so) and Maxxis seem to be popular.
