New to travel trailers GREY WOLF 23MK

We just bought a 2021 Grey Wolf Cherokee 23MK in November. We can't figure out how to get to the water heater bypass valves. without crawling under the bed and really can't reach them from there. Very hard access. Has anyone come across any good ideas how to access it?

You're probably going to get better responses if you post in the Grey Wolf forum.

Congratulations on your new rig and welcome to the forum!

I have the smaller Wolf Pup, and I have to have my wife hold the bed up while I crawl in and reach the valves. However I did copy a couple of pictures where someone cut an access hole at the top corner of the bed, over the valves for access. I've been thinking that I'll do this one day, but haven't yet.

There have been a couple of fairly recent threads on the subject

Thank you for the reply and the pictures. Maybe we will do that. Looks a lot easier than climbing under the bed and trying to access it.

We have a 2020 23MK. Lift the bed and hold it up with some kind of stick or rod. I use a mechanics hood prop. There a screwed on panel covering it. Take that off and you can access it. It’s easier than crawling through the storage access. Also double check the water line fitting tightness. Ours had a small leak when the heater was running and built up pressure. Didn’t leak when off and cold

I have a 2018 23MK. I actually find it easier to crawl through the storage area and turn the valves. I did try cutting out the "closet" floor right above the water heater, but my arm's not long enough to reach the bottom one. I have too much stored under the bed to go that way.
