Newbie switch question

I just purchased a 2014 wolf pup 16BH and have no clue what this switch is. Anyone know? The lady at the dealer said she thinks it's for the water heater, but didnt know much at all.

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. It could be the water heater switch or the potable water pump given the location. One way to tell is turn it on and listen for the pump to start or the water heater to fire. (make sure you have water in the heater)

I forgot to mention make sure your propane is on to verify if it is the water heater switch or not.

I’d say your 100% right, looks like it’s the water heater switch. I’m not sure about the 2014, but the only switches are for water pump and water heater, don’t think you have anything else on that unit.

Glad you figured it out. Now do you know "if" and where your switch is to the water heater.

I say if, cause not all water heaters will have a switch, as some are pilot light models, thus no switch to turn on/off the direct spark ignition (DSI).

If you do have an inside switch to the DSI, there will usually also be a fault/reset lamp right near the switch button. This lamp will only go to switches that are for the DSI for the water heater.
