Newbies

We have a 39ca destination trailer year 2021 that we have recently moved into full time on some land while we build a house. Completely new to RV living. 2 full baths , specs say 1 gray water tank and 1 black tank. Have a typical 2 pipe outlet valve with 1.5” (gray) and 3” black between main bathroom and kitchen. But have 2 separate 3” outlet valves toward back of trailer where 2nd bathroom is. Any ideas which is gray and which is black? Also totally new to the control panel, what is what?

Welcome. Forum is a great place to get answers. If you have two full baths you for sure have two black tanks (especially if they are on opposite ends of the unit. The small buttons on your panel are your tank gagues. Everthing else appears to be labeled.

Did you buy your unit from a dealer? They should of provided you with a very through walk through on these items and more.

Welcome. You should read the current threat "Ahh Poop" and other threads on black tank management. In an other recent thread, the key words were "lots of water", especially on your first day.

Hi and Welcome to FRF.
What Forest River brand is your 39CA? FR has a number of different divisions that manufacture destination trailers.

Since you already proclaim to be a newbie, a couple of the things you need to learn about buying is... no matter how far away of a dealer you buy from, you should ALWAYS demand a thorough PDI/Customer Orientation on delivery. You should have also considered spending a night or two on the selling dealers lot (or a nearby campground) to be sure anything that needs addressed, gets addressed.

Forest River's network of dealers are nothing like auto dealers and you may have an issue getting someone near you to do warranty work. You do have the option of exploring mobile technicians though. Many of them will do warranty work but most will require you do the necessary legwork of approval.

You can always put a couple drops of different colored food coloring in the various sinks/toilets to determine what valves/outlets control what.

Don't have your rig, but I can guess.
Those lights at the top give the level of liquid in your tanks. By pushing the buttons below the lights, it will display the level of the tanks. Looks like you've got 2 grey tanks if the panel is correct.
The other switches for lights, you're just going to have to experiment to see what controls what.
As for the dump tanks, you may have to figure that out by using a clear elbow on the sewer connection.
