I have had my 2021 Cherokee wolf pup for 4 weeks and that's how long I've been waiting to get a gas strut for my awning that is defective. It locked up when trying to close it and cause my awning arm to pop off the trailer. I've been on the phone with my dealership, lippert and Forest River for this entire time and I find it hard to believe that between them they cannot come up with one strut! If anyone out there knows where I can order this part I will pay for it myself just to get it done. Apparently the warranty it's just something talked about and a piece of paper. I'm tired of all the double talk and passing the blame back and forth, just want to get it fixed. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Every body is having problems getting parts, so you may have to hang in there a while.
One thing you can do if you want to buy one, is get any info off the existing parts, take measurements, and post them and a picture of it and we may be able to help find an after market part.
