Standard Equipment?

Hey y'all. We recently purchased a 2021 Cherokee Grey Wolf Limited 25RRT with Base Camp and Camp Fire packages. Trying to figure out weather or not it should have come with a power tounge jack. The dealer said they used to come with them, but have been coming from the factory with manual jacks lately. I contacted Forest River through the website but haven't gotten a response yet.

Any idea how I can find out? From the VIN maybe?

Tia.

What it comes with is what it comes with. FR will change wheels, layouts, colors or accessories as they grab them off the pile of parts. They will not guarantee anything but a trailer will show up for you. They even say this in their paperwork to not expect anything to be guaranteed and all things subject to change.

Thanks doc73. Guess that sums it up.

Yeah it sucks. It seems to happen quite often. Power jacks are not to expensive to add but other things like they change a whole layout could be a problem.

Most of those accessories cost extra as far as build sheet. Tongue jacks, TV, most cost cheaper to install than getting installed from manufacture.

I see no mention of a power tongue jack anywhere in the Features and Options, on the 25RRT webpage.

TRUE. I bought a power tongue jack from Harbor F for $119 and installed it myself. It's rated 3500 #. I'm pretty sure a dealer would charge me an arm and leg for it for the part and labor. Oh and I sold the old jack for $15.

I feel for you. Sometimes you decide between a couple different trailers because of the small niceties and then in the end with no way of knowing for the same price they are not included. If it is a first camper there are a lot of cheap add-ons that add up to quite a bit in the end.

The only standard things you mentioned, that you should have gotten, was the sink cover and working locks.
The other stuff may be provided by the dealer, not the factory. You wouldn't see that stuff listed on a RV manufacturers website as included.

I just got a 2021 Cherokee 304BH back in March. I originally saw the camper at a show and we basically bought it there. Listed was the power tongue jack. The day we went to get it from the dealer it was the first thing I noticed when the guy was starting the walk through. He said some about FR recalling the tongue jack and putting on the standard ones. Which is fine by me. I know someone who is on his 3rd one so far.

And the jack that I have. The handle flips down an you can use an impact on it. Make it alot easier trust me.
