Tote on ladder

We just purchased a poo tote for when we go to sites without hookups and it has an option to hook it to the rear ladder of our 26DBH-L. Should I be worried about the ladder getting damaged after a while if we travel with it stored on the ladder while traveling? How tough is the ladder on these trailers? The tote weighs about 45lbs.

Ladders are designed to carry the weight of fully grown adults. I'm 200# and the ladder on my trailer could care less.

If you are hanging the tote on the ladder just run a rathhet strap around it and ladder to keep the tote from swinging or banging the ladder.

I have a Rhino 28 gallon tote and after several thousand miles no issues at all.

That's exactly what I have. The 28 gallon rhino. I got the one with 4 wheels.

I've carried a similar tote on the ladder of my Windjammer on some pretty rough roads. It's been back there for at least 30-thousand miles and no damage to the ladder or the tote. As Mike says a couple of tie-downs and it is as secure as can be.
