used wolf pup ok?

We are about to pull the trigger on a used 2016 Wolf Pup 16FQ for $10,090. It looks very lightly used, based just visual inspection, tread on the tires, etc. The place selling it says it was a repo. Is a used trailer a bad idea? No warranty, but they will inspect thoroughly and demonstrate to us that all systems are working before we buy.

I bought a used XLR a few years ago and we have had few problems. Bought an after market warranty just in case. Have used it only once, when the fuel pump to the gas station quit. You should not have any problems if they show you it all works.
Good Luck!

For any used trailer:
Have them put water in it, turn the pump on and let it run till it shuts off. You will hear it shut off. Turn the pump off. Look around for a about 10 minutes and turn the pump back on. It should NOT run. If it does, you have a plumbing leak and RUN don't walk away.
About anything else can be fixed without a lot of effort except a plumbing leak because it wasn't winterized properly.

But op is looking at 1 year old used for more than new and no warranty instead of 2 year warranty. Not the same as half price.

My rule of thumb on a used RV besides making sure all the syttems work is get on a ladder and have a good look at the roof as well as all the seams and check the caulking. Cracked or missing caulk can let water in, under the siding and rot the structure underneath.

Open all the cupboards high and low and take a real had look along the edge of the floor where the floors meet the walls for water intrusion. If there is any sign of bubbling or buckling along the wall to floor seams or telltale water stains in the cabinet backs, walk away. The rot has already started underneath.

RV's in general, even ones with aluminum roof's need to have their caulking checked twice yearly and any cracks or missing caulk filled or replaced.

It's a 'repo' so it questionable if it was properly maintained. You need to look. Just because all the systems work, don't mean it's water tight.

Just wondering, is it worth having a moisture meter to go over the inside of the trailer walls and ceiling?

Not really. if there is water / moisture damage inside, you will see it if you look where I stated to look. A sure sign is it will smell musty. That is a dead give away it is leaking.
