Vengeance 5th wheel front landing gear.

The landing gear on my 5th wheel is painfully slow to retract or extend. Not to mention the location of the switch. Don't think Forest River really thought that one out. Any suggestions or recommendations on landing gear that extend or retract at a decent speed, and that won't break the bank?

Are you running them on battery only or shore power /TV hooked up? First thing and last thing I do when hitching the buggy is plug - unplug.

They use the same motor on all of them, I agree they could have put the switch on the side and it is slow. You could check on the cost of switching them out to the new Lippert Black Jack system. They are hydraulic self contained no reservoir. They be down in 1 minute. Something to check, and do not take up anymore space then what you have now.
