Vinyl Plank Flooring
Just finished replacing our sheet linoleum with vinyl floor planks. This took a good amount of time to finish since I had to cut around all of the cupboards and other openings. We took the camper out of storage this year and saw that the vinyl linoleum was cracked in 2 places. After looking at our choices we decided to go with the vinyl planks. It is a 2005 Cherokee Lite 28A TT. The camper is still in very good shape so we wanted to make sure what ever we did it complimented the look of the camper. It is a floating floor and I did some research and found that this will work in the camper. I am just worried about the extreme cold that we get here in Minnesota while the camper is in storage. I guess we will see how it looks next spring when we take it out of storage. I did not take many pictures before I stated but I took a lot after it was done.
I made a video of this as I went along but it is not done yet. Will link to it when it is finished.

Here is a video that I made during the process. It does not show how to connect the flooring but it does show the process as I went along. Towards the end of the video I also show some mods that we did to the camper also.

Spierce617, what brand of flooring is that / where'd you purchase it from? I don't need ours replaced, but if we ever decide to change it, I have several options I'm keeping archived for now.

Menard's is where I purchased it at. I just uploaded a video that shows the flooring in the box and the brand and color.

I searched at Shaw Floors and can't find anything called Citadel Jaya Teak under their site / Resilient section. Only thing that shows up with that description is at Menards, which is way out of our territory.

Very nice! We were considering this before we bought the new trailer. Will definitely keep it in mind 6-8 years from now.

Big John that is exactly how I felt after I found this in the store. I tried to do some research on it and could not find anything under the Shaw website. A Google search just brought up Menard's. I was told it is a special just for Menard's so it would not be on the Shaw website. Sorry should of mentioned that before.

I'm impressed. That job looks really good, you must be part cabinet maker.
I would like that floor in my Mini. Although, I think it would be like trying to do your bathroom, they are just about the same size  .

It is not a resilient floor, it is called LVP or LVT. (luxury Vinyl Plank)

This is what we had put in from the flooring dealer. We carpeted the bedrooms and did the rest with what you installed, it looks great and we are very happy to have a new floor that will move with the cold Thanks for your suggestion

We have vinyl plank flooring in our home...ripped out the carpet (had to be a guy that designed fabric to walk on that can't be thrown in the washer to clean)  .
Last winter a large ember the size of my little fingernail popped out of the fireplace far enough that it went past the tile fireplace surround and landed on the vinyl planking.  I freaked and started running for water in the kitchen then realized....canned soda on the coffee table! and dumped that on it. Expected to find a hole burned it in when I cleaned the soda up. NOPE, not a mark on it. 
We still have two rooms to go, but this stuff is amazing! Furniture legs do not dent it either.
DH has talked about putting that in our 5er when what came in it starts to show wear.

Looks identical to our floors here at home! We used "Innsbruck" and glued ours directly to the concrete flooring. Did it over five years ago and it looks just like new.
Love the embossed wood grain!

I did that with my old Fleetwood three years ago. Changed the whole feel of camper and felt nicer under foot.   
We traded up for a toy hauler. Even three years later still looked great. We live in Pennsylvania so we get cold too.

That really does look nice, I would for sure consider that once my floor starts showing its age or damaged.
I was wondering if it would be more practical for weight purposes to cut out the old flooring and discard before putting the laminate down.

I took old up because old is not glued down. I wanted good adhesion and no movement or chance of peeling off. Mine was not laminate but vinyl plank floor. Not a floating floor.
