Greetings campers

Hi everyone just purchased a 5th wheel artic cat 3880 and I know this is not the cited forum for this question but wondering do I need to have water in the Hotwater heater tank to run the heat in the camper not sure if same heat that heats water also serves as furnace

No your furnace and water heaters are usually two different appliances, independent of one another........except using propane.


The trailer is not like an automobile with a heater core.

Welcome to the forum from MN. And no, they aren’t connected. Make sure there’s water in the hot water heater before turning on the electric side of the WH or you’ll burn out the heating element.
