What is in the "Adventure Package"?

So, I'm still trying to get my hands on a 2021 16BHSBL...wow. My RV Dealer (Cheyenne RV in Walcott, IA) is having the toughest time getting info from Forest River because of the chaos of COVID. They're switching component mfrs on a weekly basis, apparently! Also, their production is pretty slow at the moment and delivery dates are really unknown. Oh, what a time to be in the market.

Anyway, does anyone here know what comes in the Adventure Package? My dealer doesn't know, and I called two others and they said, "Maybe a different tire?"

Thanks. That's the Advantage Package, not the AdVENTURE package.

My Dealer got to the bottom of it. Adventure package is an off-road enhancement: 2" body lift, and addition of 15” Mud Rover Radial Tires,
custom Aluminum Wheels, and Corrugated Diamond Metal reinforcement on the underbody. Basically taking the wheels, tires, and reinforcement from the Flagstaff Sport Enthusiast and putting it on the Wolf Pup.

Thoughts on the pros and cons of those Dunlop Mud Rovers? Are they truly and upgrade from the 14" tires that come on the Wolf Pup. Would the road handling be too much of a nightmare on the highway? Thanks!

Thanks for the clarification. I missed the difference between the words Advantage and Adventure. Good information about the Adventure package.

The Mud Rover is a light truck tire. Much better than a trailer tire. Rated for over 100 mph, instead of the usual 81 or 87. If you drive on gravel roads much, gravel will often punch through the passenger car and trailer tires. When I was driving too fast on gravel roads with passenger tires on my truck, I got 2 flats in a day several times. On a washboard road, once you get over about 30 mph, you only hit to tops of the bumps and it smooths the ride enormously. I can't recommend that when pulling a camp trailer, althouh it works with my small utility trailer.

That extra inch also makes a big difference if you are on a dirt road. Amazing the difference an extra inch or so of clearance makes. I had to take the stairs off my trailer the first time we took my trailer down to the river on our property. I've since upgraded my tires to a larger diameter.

We are in a current subbing situation and both have been recently used. Normally we use the West Lake, but we have 4 different subs that we have used during this time Period and the Dunlop was one. Unfortunately for us to keep running production this has been necessary. Thanks!

Picked my 22RR up in Oct. it had the West Lake tires.
Would have preferred Dunlop

That's one good looking trailer!

Can you tell if there was a suspension lift on your unit at all?

How about some inside shots? I'm trying to live vicariously...last update I got was maybe January for delivery. February more likely.

1” bigger diameter wheels gains 1/2”, so maybe the outer radius of the tire gains an overall 1” at best.
Underslinging the axle gained me 5.5” on the stock 14” wheels. That was plenty with the stock MoreRyde steps.

That's what I want to know!

My assumption was the same way they do it on trucks: different leaf springs and axle set up.

That's why I asked on the forum though, since my email about it to FR is still unanswered...

Most 15 inch trailer tires are around 28 to 29 inches diameter.

Your 14 inch tires are around 26.5 in diameter so you would have picked up a lot by going to 16s and a better tire vs flipping axles, along with all the other benefits of going up in tire size.

If you do the work yourself it’s Hard to argue with price of axle flips though

Yes, tire diameters can vary greatly on a given wheel.
When I change my tires I will be strongly considering 15” wheels, haven’t investigated clearances for 16”.
I paid my local shop to do the flip for me. Kit was around $60, he charged me $120, so I gave him $150.
