Where is My Water Pump?

Anybody Know where the Water Pump on My Trailer is? It's Probably gone Bad and I'm going to Repair or Replace it.

It would help if you posted the correct model number in your profile. There is no Cherokee 3BD model.

Water pump

It is located under the vanity sink. You will need to remove the screws to the access panel to get to it.

You may want to correct that, in your profile.

Some water pumps have an inline fuse and a fuse in the breaker/fuse panel. I only use my wp when winterizing and I noticed it may stick, so far, turning the pump on and off a few times frees it up.

Those that use the FRF app, can't see signatures, if they are in the profile information.
From what your profile shows in your signature, it's just information on your F150.
Under RV Year and Model- 2014 3BD.

Where's the Water Pump?

You really need to tell people what kind of RV you have! However, most water pumps are placed somewhere near the kitchen sink. Look under the sink and trace the water lines. Better yet, seems like maybe you should take it to a dealer or repair shop!

Since this thread is in the Cherokee sub-forum and the OP has a Cherokee, you probably would get better help if you asked this, in the Sierra sub-forum.

I couldn't find it in my non-FR 5th wheel. But since it was running, I tracked the sound and my ears pointed me to the side of a lower cabinet near the trailer entrance door. I took the screws out of the cabinet side panel and lo and behold, there was the pump. I've since replaced the screws with Velcro and added a couple of knobs to make it easier to pull the panel away from the cabinet. I really think some RV designers have never traveled with an RV.

The OP found his water pump. See post #4.
His was under the bathroom vanity.

BTW, most of the pumps I have seen are not near the kitchen sink. My current kitchen sink is in an island in the center of the floor. My pump is behind a panel in the water control area in the pass through under my bathroom.

That Velcro and knob trick sounds like a good idea. I usually remove the panels for the furnace, WH and WP then put them in the under bed storage with the screws in a zip lock bag stapled to one of the 1x1s. DW wants to sell our TT and says I have to put the panels back. I told her I'll think about it.

Correct. But it usually is near the water tank, fore or aft, behind a cabinet panel.

Actually, it can be anywhere. Mine is in the bathroom under the closet and the water tank is up front.

Probably best way to find a pump is look where the winterizing antifreeze port is on the outside. Pump should be close by in an inside cubbyhole.
