Wolf pup 16BHS upper cabinets.

So I have these upper cabinets in my wolf pup that only stay open if you hold them open. This to me is pretty dumb and was wondering if anybody had a good idea as far as a keeper or a folding support that would keep them open.

Add struts to your cabinets. There a whole thread on this here.

Be very cautious when adding struts to these cabinets. The cabinet frames are made of sawdust and glue and they split out very easily. I know, I had a a Wolf Pup and added struts. I must have had one of the struts installed incorrectly because the frame fell apart after opening and closing the cabinet a couple of times.

I’m worried about that as well. They seem ok for now, I was thinking of reinforcing the interior with some metal strapping to support that stress on the frame.

Found a idea on here where a command hook was used on the ceiling, think I’ll try that idea until I come up with something else.

Yup, 3M command hooks on the ceiling (recommend the 3 pound capacity or greater). Thick rubber bands on the door handles stretched over the command hooks. Had one pull off the other day after I left it open overnight on a warm day. Just stuck it back up and it's working fine I originally installed these in early May and they held well through the summer. I put 3 or 4 rubber bands on the handles. It takes 2 or 3 to hold the doors firmly where I have the hooks mounted, so I have built in spares.

Got these put on they were pretty simple to install, waiting on the filler to dry in the holes, after touched up you can barely notice them.

These are the support brackets I used. If you are going to put them on the left side you have to buy right side brackets just trust me on this one. Vise versa if you want them on the other side.

I’ve had some luck using command hooks and a carabiner on my wolf pup storage doors.

Hold open brackets like these are easy to install, I also popped out the blank panels and made doors to allow easier access to the entire cabnet space.I would show pictures but can't figure out how😏😏
