Wolf Pup 16PF Murphy Bed

My wife and I would like to purchase a 2021 Wolf Pup 16PF. However, the Murphy Bed raises in the middle and then lower where you lay your heads. So, feels like you are laying downhill. Are there any other options or suggestions to fix this issue?

Hmm

Our last camper had a murphy bed but was different than yours.. You didnt see any of the bed when the love seat was up.The love seat lay flat under the bed when it was down... Looks like you may have to put something under that back section of the bed .Is it too much of a drop for a piece of plywood or or even some the the interlocking floor mats to lift under that section? I looked up that model online an even in the pic the head part of the bed looks like it drops.. Heres a link to what i was talking about with the interlocking tiles..https://www.amazon.com/Prosource-Int...s%2C189&sr=8-4

We're wondering if we could just remove the jackknife and build a bed frame for a fixed bed. Hard to know what will work since we don't actually own the trailer. Thanks for the response.

I bet you could.. The love seats probably just screwed to the floor... We thought it would be nice having a love seat with a smaller trailer. BUT we rarely used it in the 3 1/2 years we had it.. Mostly just left the bed down..

We have the 2021 Wolf Pup 16FQ with the Murphy Bed. We added a 2" foam topper and cotton pad (see specs in my garage in my profile). The bed folds out perfectly flat and is very comfortable. When folded up (rainy days), the love seats are used to watch TV (we hung a 32" smart TV, don't know if you can with slide), or lay back with feet up on makeshift ottoman (small step stool) or just read the paper and stay comfortable and dry. Beats sitting at the kitchen table all day.

Congrats and good luck with your new TT!

We have a 16FQ and what we did was cut a 3/8" sheet of plywood into 3 sections and hinged it together so it can still fold up. I cut the width of the part that goes over the loveseat so that it straddles both sides. Kinda acts like a book binder when folded up.
