Wolf Pup Mods 16BHS
Brand new owners! Picked up yesterday but we have been looking at these for about a year or two. Got what I believe is a pretty good deal before the Colorado front range rush (I can’t wait for COVID to be over so people go back to their festivals and leave the camping to us that always have ).
I’m curious to see mods (really good old thread won’t let me post anymore) and how everyone else is storing. We had a smaller pop up so we are extremely happy with our 2021 Wolf pup but already seeing that storage is still going to be an issue somewhat. Ours did come with a back luggage carrier and also new is the already mounted solar panel. Additionally, I want to install a second battery and run in parallel, has anyone done this? Pictures?! Thanks!!!!

Wolf Pup Mods 16BHS
Congrats! I just signed papers today a 16BHS and have the same questions as you. According to YouTube, the factory installed battery and solar juice pack should power the 12v fridge for up to 55 hours but I would like some peace of mind with an extra battery or higher wattage solar. Also, that’s with the older fridge and not the new Cannon fridge. Lithium batteries sound awesome but aren’t in the cards right now.

As to storage, when we had a tt and with our motorhome, we decided to rent a 'garage type' storage unit. We tried open storage for some time and decided the weather was not being kind to our trailer. It's a bit pricey, but having a roof overhead, a completely locked unit and electricity available was worth the expense. No more 'weathering' by the sun and rain.
Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the forum. Looks good!

We just got a 16BHS 2021 in October. We are still figuring the storage out too. We did pop out the front of the two benches to make the storage in the benches more accessible. We got that idea from the forums.
We got a shower caddy for more storage(pic below). We also got a shower curtain tension rod that we put in the bathroom up high across the back wall to hang items from (caddy/wet swim suits on tub side and towels on toilet side). My camper is in storage so no pic, sorry. As soon as the weather gets nicer, we bought several baskets pictured to hang with command hooks in the bathroom, kitchen area, entry area for more storage. We also plan on getting an over the door storage item of some type for the bathroom door.

We are still awaiting our 17JGBL so we don't have a feel for many mods yet. We did get a bike carrier. Perhaps I'll rotate the power jack to help with tailgate clearance?? Oh, and I think we will install a sliding curtain around the bed for some privacy.
Anyway as to storage - my folks got us a nice PermaPro cover from Classic Accessories for Christmas that we plan to use in the off season. I'd love to justify nice covered storage, but we already have two others rented for stuff.

It took me a while to figure out what may be a key distinction. These posts often include a lot of mods and so you start out on a big list. But the question is whether you want to jeopardize you warranty by changing out a key part. For example I was in the process of converting to a lithium battery which involves moving it inside, changing out power converter, and recabling the battery. And then there is a recall for the shore power connection which is in the same compartment as the planned lithium battery. So I'm pausing the whole conversion until the recall repair is done, and maybe for the whole year of the warranty. Not sure yet. I can install the lithium battery outside and use the existing power cables, and that is probably ok for the warranty. I can also use the old power converter (not as much charge as the new one) with an improvement in battery life because a lithium battery doesn't discharge in the same way lead acid does. Anyway always more complications than your first think

I installed a solar MPPT battery charger, dual batteries, a cutting board counter expansion, an electric tongue jack, maxair fan and hooks in the bathroom.

Did you upgrade your solar panels too? Which MPPT did you go with?
