Wolfpup in winter

We have a Wolfpup and live in Texas outside Fort Worth. We went through the whole winterizing routine (blow lines with airtank and fill with rv antifreeze) for the first time, then needed to use the camper and dewinterized it. Now we have winterized again. The cost and time makes me ask: what do y'all do in the winter when there will be times when the tt isn't being used that it will be in temps below freezing, but you'd like to be able to use the tt during the winter for short trips? We won't be going anywhere arctic, but I don't relish the idea of repeating that process all winter.

And what do you do when you go camping and temps drop to below freezing?

Depends... if it's a 3 day trip we leave it winterized.
We make coffee and brush teeth using water from a blue tote jug.
When we're done I pour a little pink stuff down the drains and make sure
the holding tanks are empty.
We use the bathrooms at the camp ground for any heavy stuff.
Keep a milk jug of water handy to rinse the potty after a pee...

If it's longer than that, we probably use the water system and then re-winterize. I can usually get it done with 1 2/3 gallon of pink stuff and about 30-45 minutes time.

Everything KyDan said.

And, once you get the hang of winterizing it shouldn't take more than 25-30 minutes and a couple gallons of antifreeze that will set you back $10. All in all, an inexpensive, easy process that shouldn't give you hesitations of heading out when you want to.

15 below here this morning when I let the dog out. We're not going camping for quite a while. It is a challenge just to get me out the door.
