2014 DX3 TS Modifications

We bought our 2014 DX3 TS used in 2016 and have made a few upgrades / modifications to it. The biggest change was ripping out all the carpeting & vinyl planks and replacing it w/ luxury vinyl planks. We chose a light wood color to brighten up the dark cherry interior. We also pulled out the 'dream' dinette and the sofa/fold out bed. We still have a little more work to do on the interior but we can finally see light at the end of the tunnel. Below are some general pix in no particular order.

You have a lot of clever ideas. Any instructions or youtube on how you did them. I like the propane and ladder storage & rear window opening. Anyway nice work thanks for sharing.

I didn't do any You Tube videos - sorry. The opening rear window works out really well because you can get real air movement thru the whole RV when there's a breeze outside. The propane compartment had a lot of wasted volume so that was a good place to put some stuff that could be exposed to the elements. I wish the main propane tank was mounted inward a little more to provide some additional storage. While I was working on this project I found a 1/4" propane quick disconnect below & behind the tank, which you can't see unless you crawl underneath. It's nice having a 21' ladder to get on the roof since a ladder isn't mounted on the back.

Originally we were looking at buying a Force HD & then saw the DX3 & I'm glad we went w/ this one.
