Anyone else bottomed our and busted the black water valve and cable that was pointing downward underneath the back. Had a lot of scraping the cap before I totally changed it's direction but this time broke the valve and lost all of the liquid - not good ?
One of the things we have been doing here is we added a 45 degree clear swivel that serves 2 purposes. When in use it swivels down, but also the clear elbow lets you make sure the back tank is clean.
I'd have yo see your set up to know if it would help or not, but it is a standard part from Valterra.

the above picture was taken after I rerouted the sewer to the side but you can see the sewer valve underneath , always wondered why it had to be aimed so far down , but it is broke now and wont hold water - hope when I replace it - to turn up level with ground ?
Ah...yes, already modified. Should be able to rotate that.
