typically there is a cut-off valve for the fridge ice maker water line, probably located in a lower cabinet nearby, or like mine, in the lower half-bath cabinet in the nextdoor bathroom, where the bath water lines already are. I have to access mine by removing screws from the lower 'doors', which are just for looks, and cover up the water lines, wiring, sewer pipes, and the furnace unit.

the factory also does not typically leave this water line valve ON, which is why most of us have this same question early on : )

Remove the drawers from the kitchen base, using a flashlight, you will see a small shutoff conected to a white water line, thatis the icemaker, hope this helps.

We actually had two valves

One under the fridge when you pull off the wooden vent cover under the fridge

The second is visible on the outside when you take the exterior fridge panel off

I dont have an exterior fridge panel, would that be only on non residential fridges? Our valve is the same place as stated earlier, under the stove behind the drawers, only one valve.

Correct - external panel is only on RV (norcold) equipped units.

Additionally make sure the water line to the ice maker is connected as well and the power for the actuator

Both maybe discoonected for storage or when the unit is planning to sit on the dealer lot for some time

I believe on mine it is a brown wire with a female spade connector

I d post a pic but it is -29c here and I am not going outside
