Can someone please explain to me how to bypass the Truma water heater. I have attached a picture showing the connections.

Based on this picture, I don't believe that you can. You need a third valve available to perform a by-pass.

I responded to your other message.
I can't really tell, is this a tankless water heater ( on demand ) ? I have one on my 2019 I3 and it did have three valves and could be bypassed.

If this is a tank type, you can still winterize. Simply close the valves ( levers not parallel to the lines ), and drain the water heater from the front.

It's pretty easy once you get it. There are video tutorials for winterizing if it's the same on demand system as in my 2019.

water lines

I'm talking about the water line and blowing them out with compressed air. I want to only blowout the line hot and cold should have a bypass. If I shut both values nothing will go to the hot side?

Fair point. So if it is a tank type water heater, just drain it out and then leave the valves open. Use the compressed air like you said. You won't over pressurize the tank as the hot water side of the faucets will be open. In fact, if you open your low point drains, most of the water simply flows out that way via gravity. Dean

Correct, shut both valves and that will by-pass the Truma.

Don’t listen to this person. Close the two valves in the picture and the Truma is by-passed.

This is the way my I3 was plumbed too and by closing both of these valves it will bypass the Truma as others have stated, but there isn't anyway to put antifreeze into the hot water lines if you want to do that as well. I had to add a crossover line between the cold and hot water lines with a valve on it to be able to put antifreeze in the hot water lines and bypass the Truma.
