2018 Force HD Compartment walls ...

I would like to add a few hooks to my compartment/basement walls. These would be used to tie down some stuff I plan to store down there, so they don't move around while on the road.

Is there anything I should know about or watch out for in the 2018 Force HD Compartment walls? I wouldn't want to hit any wires, lines, etc. when I drill/screw in the hooks.

Thanks, Bill

I added them in our 18 HD. Just go under and look around first. I used stainless eye bolts with big fender washers, added a little silicone around the hole.

What Halla said,

put the silicone around the bolt and under the outside washer.

use eye bolt and two large fender washers. 1 washer on outside, 1 on inside. This distributes the torque on the wall.
