2019 RAM Chassis Fog Lights

Has anyone added fog lights to their RAM 5500 chassis? Are these “plugs” in the front bumper covers for where factory optioned fog lights would have been installed? Not looking for anything that would not look like it was designed as part of the truck.

On the RAM 5500 cab “build” page, they show fog lights as a $195 option?

. look around under and behind bumper i bet you find the harness as well .

I found this over an a RAM truck forum. Going to check for wires tomorrow behind the dummy plugs in the bumper.

Our 2018 5500 chassis (not the facelifted one like yours) most definitely has the harness and plug for the fog lights just sitting there unused behind the bumper. My trolling of the Ram forums has me believing that if I bought A) the fog lights B) the fog light brackets and C) the headlight switch to activate them, I'd be all set.....with one small excepting the earlier model 5500s require a bumper swap because we don't have the dummy plugs like you. That's pretty much what's killing it for me.

I have not confirmed if there is any kind of re-coding required to get the CAN-Bus to recognize that you have a different headlight switch or not. Something to look into though.
