2020.5 ISATA 3 entertainment system, Winegard & Cruise control
1. Has anyone been able to run their TV sound through the Jensen Radio/entertainment system? IF so, how did you have it hooked up?
Dealer is not very helpful. They had the sound system so that the TV would not make any sound at all and I figured out that they had plugged into the headphone which muted the sound. Unhooked that connection and got sound back on the TV.
2. Anyone know how to work the Winegard Connect 2.0. We are at a campground that have OK WiFi but would like for it to be stronger and can't get the Winegard to pick it up. It said that it is in conflict with local network.
3. Also, had anyone figured out the adaptive cruise control. Mine keeps cutting off and I can't get the cruise control to work at all. It says that the radar sensors are dirty. I have cleaned the windshield and don't know where any other sensor might be.
Thanks!!

The radar sensor on my Pacifica is a round glass thing in the lower center of the front, near the bumper. This may or may not apply to your Sprinter.
You might find your behind the three pointed star logo on the grill.

1. I do believe I posted the answer to this on another thread. In fact, I think I posted a video on how to do it. Without searching...you had to go into settings. Turn the TV speakers off...change it to fixed audio out?...anyway, I know for sure it was in the settings section which opened up a previoulsy grayed out menu item under audio.
2. A stonger signal on bad wifi will still result in bad wifi. Do you know what the actual signal strength is? -DB
3. What kjburns said. The adaptive portion is in the bumper area as I recall and I know that we had ONE that Mercedes said we painted over. But, we don;t paint that area and after further review, Mercedes never installed the sensor.

Thanks, Brian. I was able to get the tv to send sound through the sound system. Wiring was on audio out and not audio in on the head unit. Also, have appt with Mercedes next week to look at cruise control as it is not supposed to be doing what it is.

Good to hear. When we had an issue with a front sensor....it went into limp mode, didn't work at all. So this sounds like something new.

Mercedes Benz just called me and said that the radar is mounted to a non-Mercedes part that was installed by the upfitter and they have adjusted it the best that they can but if not, then they will not be able to honor any other repairs to it since it is not a Mercedes part. Does Dynamax put any parts on the chassis that the radar sensor mounts?

??? Not that I am aware of??? Maybe they could take a picture of this "non Mercedes part" so we all know that they are talking about?

Brian, spoke with Colleen Adams in Customer Support and she said that Dynamax did not change anything upfront. I contacted Mercedes Corporate and they got the local shop manager involved. The original tech said that the bumper was not original MB. When the shop foreman and the shop manager met with me, they believe now that it is a MB original bumper but will not know until they remove it. They let it slip that they thought this was a Winnebago at first. Apparently Winnebago changes the front bumper to match their sides and used an inferior product. They looked at it closely and said the paint was better than they had seen on others. This is the first new Dynamax they have seen. They seem to change their tune once they knew that MB Corporate was involved and that you guys were saying that you did not change out the bumper. Hopefully they will have it fixed in the next few days as they will probably have to order parts. I'll reply once I have it repaired. Thanks! PS. Colleen was great to work with.

lol....of course.
First step, denial.
We use the stock bumper and even the last time we had this they didn't even look, just said "OEM painted over the camera". Well....we did not, we don't even paint the area where it is and that is the one they found to be missing altogether. Was never installed.

Just got a call from Myrtle Beach Mercedes Benz. They now agree that this is a MB bumper and found the controller bad. They have ordered the controller and hope to have it replaced tomorrow. This gives me a lot more faith in MB. Will let everyone know once I try it out after repairs.

It gives me less faith that they cannot identify their own bumper....but Ill give them the benefit of the doubt, they probably saw some winnies with this issue and just assumed it was the same.

The shop manager and shop forman were leaning towards it being an MB bumper yesterday. They had not worked on a new 2020.5 Dynamax or 2019 chassis. Apparently I was one of the first to get one of these around here. They did apologize today and complimented on the paint work. Now hopefully they can get the cruise control and the adaptive cruise to work!!! Other than questioning the bumper, they have been nice to work with.

I got my ISATA 3 back from the Myrtle Beach Mercedes Benz service dept. They did finally agree that this was a MB bumper and the cruise control unit was bad. I drove it about 25 miles back home last night and all seems to be working now. Thanks to Colleen Adams in Dynamax Customer Support giving me the ammunition to explain to MB that Dynamax does not change the bumpers or the radar sensor unit out on these things. I have a few other minor things to get fixed on the house part. The outlets in the arm rest of the theater seats do not work and the rain gutter downspout over the driver's side causes the run off to hit directly on the driver's mirror and has it stained. It was put on crooked. All should be easy fixes, but will have to replace the mirror probably. Have not been worried about these as the cruise control and broken valve stem have taken up most of our time since we have owned this new unit.

Mirror won't need to be replaced. You can get some CLR or something that will take care of that, then put some Rain-ex on it. Has worked for me in the past.
