2021 Dynamax Isata 3 Anderson 4-way water valve sticking

My 2021 Dynamax Isata 3 Anderson 4-way water valve is very hard to turn after not being used daily. When camping, valve will turn but very sensitive valve position to being on city water and not filling fresh water tank.

After sitting in storage for a month, I have to use channel locks to get valve to move. I am afraid I am going to snap the valve stem. Trying to make it to end of season for repairs.

I have the brass valve so not sure what options are except to replace entire valve. I can take it to dealer but for warranty work will have to wait........ and miss lots of camping opportunities.

We relieve the pressure off the system when we change settings now, so I know there is no pressure on the valve/pump/system.

Thanks!

They are pretty easy to take apart to clean and lube. Several U tube videos on the subject. I replaced the guts on one for a friend and it wasn’t hard.

Mine is a dickens to turn as well. 2019 and the unit has not been used much. Perhaps that's part of the problem.

As an aside Bill, do you have any idea how you can replenish the water tank from Jerry Cans with this set up ? Dean

You would need some kind of 12 volt water pump or 120volt if you want to run the generator.

The valve on our I3FW was often hard to turn as well. Partly due to location, objects in the way, etc. I used a piece of 1 ½ ABS 20” long, with notch’s on the one end to slide over handle, grip tape on other to aid in turning. Worked well for me.

Good luck with value what ever you choose to do, hopefully something works for you.

Andersen valve can give you a tool that helps turn it. I use my Isata 3 alot and its still hard to turn. Also the tank fills all the time when put on City water setting unless I go around the clock a couple of times...

In addition to always operating the valve after relieving the water pressure, I always turn it in the same direction (in my case clockwise). I think I read somewhere that this may prevent the valve from malfunctioning. My valve is tight but has worked flawlessly for 3 years. I don't think it matters which way you turn it, but it may be best to turn it in the same direction all of the time.
