I spoke with MB in Elkhart and they said 3-4 days delivery for all parts except washers as those are still showing backordered in system.

washers aren't needed unless they are damaged.

Yea, I can't imagine any of those washers are damaged especially on low mile vehicles.

the challenge (if any) was the shim (typically used as a spacer) was installed as a washer (used to distribute load of bolt) - hopefully no damage to the shim, a shim would typically not be as strong as a washer given the intended purpose

given the units have very limited use I can’t imagine any damage was done

Found out today our unit is now complete, except for the torsion bar fix. I wonder how long it will take to get all those units ahead of us fixed and delivered.

I don't know what type unit you purchased, but Forest River told me they have 30+ units that need repair. I can't remember how many Brain said they have.

Last I heard they had 40 Isata 3 units to clear at the factory. Mine being one of them.

Brian - did you complete the review of all 40+ sprinters and were any of them were correct and good to ship ?

The review is somewhat irrelevant in that they are replacing all linkage regardless of mileage.

Brain, I am anticipating that message from you that we repaired our first unit.

I was told that parts are arriving this week. They have (4) techs coming out Monday 22nd to start knocking them out.

My unit is at the MB dealership in St. Louis, awaiting the repair. But like every MB dealership I've ever heard of, they are 'backed up' in the service department. No one else seems to have the same sense of urgency that we all have expressed.

Looks like about 1 hour per unit, if you have the parts and a MB tech. Should be able to move through them pretty quickly.

So if each mechanic can repair 5 units a day, then they should be finished on the 23rd. How long will it take to deliver the 40 units?
