2022 DynaQuest XL - Fog Lights Missing

Is my DynaQuest XL the only one that was delivered without fog lights? All DynaQuest XLs and DX3s I’ve seen have fog lights.

2022 DynaQuest XL - Fog Lights Missing

XL’s don’t get fog lights. Some may have added them when installing the Caliber 9 lower grille insert. However, on the XL the lower Caliber 9 can’t be installed due to the Wabco collision avoidance system mounted in that space. Ours doesn’t have them, nor did our 2018. DX3’s get fog lights.

Our 22 XL does have the fog lights, collision radar and upper Caliber 9 grill. Does not have the lower grill insert - assume to much of a pain to trim out the fog lights and radar. I dunno. We seemed to have missed out on the Engine Brake though. Freightliner is figuring that out….

I believe they moved the bumper out an inch or two on the 2022 XL’s, now they can fit the factory fog lights now. I have seen a handful of 2022 and later with the fog lights on XL’s.

Alrighty, then. Very cool! I’ll look forward to seeing it in Biloxi. What color did you go with, or is that a secret until the big reveal? Congratulations, man.

Titanium layout, but changed the gray to match our Jeep and the white switched over to an Orange. Should look pretty good, pretty different.

Sounds awesome. It’ll be the hit of the Rally, I’m sure.

Actually, in the past, ALL DX3's had fog lights, None of the XL's had fog lights as they would not fit (per Freightliner). At some point they made a change that accommodated fog lights, but that is chassis model years specific, not RV model year specific.

Our XL has the extended bumper. There were no fog lights…probably a timing thing. I added them, no problem. I wired-in the Freightliner sub-harness and switch, but if you don’t want to do that you can always wire them independently.

Any chance you'd have part #s ordered for all of this?

Call me interested.

Thanks,
Jim
