2023 Dynamax Owners Western Rally
Ok here we go!
Head to https://western.dynamaxowners.com to get the latest and greatest regarding next year's Western Rally!
THE BASICS:
When: Sept 27 - Oct 1, 2023
Where: WillowWind RV Park in Hurricane, UT
How: Call to book your site (be sure to mention if you have a trailer, as you'll need a site that can handle it or a storage spot). Fill out the pre-registration form that's on the link and let us know you're coming. We'll reach out once we have activities finalized and start selling tickets / registration as we get closer next year.
Looking forward to another great time!

Dennis and Julie Wilson are coming
We're in site 178. Starting from Sep 26 - Oct 10th. Looking forward to our first western rally. Especially since we'll miss the 2023 eastern one.

Just reserved site 157 from 9/26 - 10/2. Now, all we have to do is avoid MURPHY!
Made it the first year in TN. Great time!
The next year we were avoiding CA wildfires.
The next year we had a DEF Header failure in Alamogordo, NM on the way to CO
This year we were selling our CA house and moving to AZ.
So, let's hope I haven't jinxed this rally.

Hooked up for this Rally!
I am going to be there for 14 days. Sep 23 - Oct 7th. I will have one of my Jeeps and one of my KTM dirt bikes and hiking shoes.
Show me in Pull Through #121 using my Good Sam Membership.
They suggested that coming under the Dynamax Ralley, I would have a longer cancelation policy but no pull through? I am good with a 30 day cancel policy so I pulled the trigger using my Good Sam Card and got me a 70+ ft long pull through spot.
I sure hope Dynamax can send some love this time Brian would have surely enjoyed feeding the Bison at Spearfish so I will find something else he can feed at Hurricane!

30 day cancellation?? Or 120
My wife made our reservation. She was told 120 days, and given cancellation date of July 13...60 days prior...and the email confirmation said 30 days.....
What's the deal supposed to be??

I was told 120 days to cancel and a $25 industry standard (never saw that before) admin fee when canceling the reservation.

Part of the agreement with the park to get them to block out what amounts to all of their availability for that weekend was the 120-day cancellation and admin fee to cover them.
My guess is that if / when people need to cancel hopefully we can handle it internally and just pass the reservations off to another member who'd like to attend. But definitely something to be aware of if you're not comfortable with such things.

So...I can reserve a site not under the Dynamax plan and get similar rates w a 30 day cancellation?? and a pull thru?
It sounds like I need a Good Sam club membership though...

You don't have to have a Good Sam Membership but it will save you money. I am not usually in for paying a yearly fee to maybe save some $$ but I have received a full payback with just one camp stay so I will be renewing my Good Sam Membership. I am also retired military but Good Sam seems to be worth more?

Have you looked at the map where your site #33 is located. I think they call that area the Bog? and its going to be great having 4x4!!
Just kidding....here now at Camp Dynamax seeing some pretty long 4x4 vehicles. Green with envy in my Silver and Merlot XL.

Wait, so you're really kidding or you are serious? I will call and change my site if you've heard that area is really called that. Besides, it seems I'm not near anyone else that has responded with their site number. Can you let me know which sites are actually for us? We don't need a satellite ready site, we don't have satellite. Thanks

I am sorry to have made you nervous. I am pretty sure all the sites there are very nice! I did not worry about where people are parked....you will find them. We meet up at a common tent/building for our activities. I think most attendees will post up their site number. Mine is 121 and its a pull through because I can't drive my XL with trailer very well. I need all the help I can get!
If you are bringing offroad toys, I am doing that as well!

I live in Hurricane! I assume I can join the activities without being at Willowwind.
By the way, Willowwind is a very nice RV park.
