2024 Europa 32KD Coax Cables

We have 2 coax cables ends in the entertainment cabinet. One is marked Satellite (Blue Cable) and a black one that is not labeled. Anyone know what the other black coax cable is for?

Thanks for the reply.
It’s just laying loose in the cabinet and is not connected to anything.
The OTA TV antenna is working fine…

The black one goes to the wet bay you can use an external Sat antenna if you needed one. Can be used for a remote dish if there are trees or for Starlink. I had the same question when we got ours.

Negative on all counts.

Blue: That is a coax home run to the utility bay in the event you want to use a portable satellite. Receiver powers the sat, so it cannot go through any splices or adaptors.

Black: that is the coax to the roof mounted in-motion sat.

Either one would plug into the back of your receiver, depending on which you would use. Then the HDMI from the receiver plugs into the matrix.

(at least that is what it is supposed to be. There should be no loose OTA cables, as all of those are already connected)

Thanks Brian for clarifying. I kinda thought that might be it. Would the on ground satellite coax connect to the male connector below the park cable connector in the utility bay?

My bad, I remembered it backwards. The blue cable tag is a test, lol.

This will help if you think about a bunk TV. https://www.forestriverforums.com/fo...es-272125.html

We use the bunk TV from the recliners and kitchen 90% of the time, we only seem to pull out the big TV for Supercross or a movie.

In the utility bay, the coax should be labeled "Cable" and "Satellite"

Cable being park cable and satellite being a portable sat.

Very likely. I had them start adding it (easy to drill a hole) before we had the panels ready for it. Labeled panels are here or on their way

What is the unmarked coax port for? On my coach, the satellite in was originally the unmarked port. I had to switch them around on the panel. As far as I can tell from the wiring it seems that other port is for RV CAN programming, but not sure that's the intended purpose.

Park cable would not terminate at any TV's, it would terminate at the back side of the Winegard distribution plate.
