2024 Europa 32KD P/S Slide Topper

We had our P/S slide reworked at Dynamax a couple of weeks ago due to a vertical alignment issue. Slide is working significantly better. 😎
We had some rain last night so I a did a pre-travel roof inspection this morning.
I noticed a significant amount of water sitting on the P/S slide topper, and the topper roller seems pretty bowed in the middle.
Doesn’t look right to me, but is this normal?

Never had noticed the topper roller bowing, and it is difficult to say from the photo if it is enough to be a concern. Water pooling on the topper after any significant rain is common. Some people place an inflated beach ball between the slider roof and topper to prevent pooling and flapping in the wind. Adjusting spring tension on the topper roller might also be an option. One thing for sure, anyone standing by the slide during retraction after a rainstorm is in for a surprise shower!

Thanks for the reply. Pretty high up there for placing anything under the topper. Definitely need to stay clear when retracting!
We haven’t had a slide this long before and maybe it’s normal for a longer slide?
I cleared the water and let it dry out before retracting, as I didn’t want to roll it in wet. May just be something to add to the checklist, and be sure to dry it out as soon as possible if I have to roll it in wet.

The curve of the tube seems common on all RVs with the weight of it in the middle, it is definitely accentuated by the angle of the photo looking right down the length. If we get caught with any wet awning material, we will roll it up but extended it as soon as we can and let it dry out completely, often at home.

The big questions is if the inside of the RV stayed dry after the slide room adjustments?

Dynamax is sending me the additional lower seal to close the gap at the bottom of my slide per your picture, and has advised me to make an appointment with J&L in California to have everything checked. I submitted a service request to J&L last week but have yet to hear back.

So far no water intrusion. We are still setting up slightly lower on the D/S when rain is expected.

sorry for the posting error- this is the drivers side slide and topper. Not sure how to edit the title or post 🙃

You have a two-hour window to edit a post or title. If you are within that period, you (and only you) will see an additional button at the bottom of the post, "Edit", besides Quote and Reply. Click it, optionally switch to Advanced Mode ("Go Advanced"), make necessary changes, and click Save Changes.

After that, you can throw yourself upon the mercy of the moderators. Click the tilted triangle containing an exclamation point ("!"), and explain the required changes in the popup.

You might also take a look at the red line in my sig, to avoid posting sideways pictures in the future.
