21 XL Dinette Slide Roof Leak

Hi everyone. In addition to having to find and repair the leak, my ceiling material is thoroughly soaked with rainwater and needs to be replaced. I'm referring to the padded vinyl/wood sheet laminate. Now I'm trying to figure out how to remove it. Is this ceiling material simply glued in place to the internal trusses?

If it is a slide out roof, there are no trusses. Trusses would only be on the main roof.

The slide roof is a laminated assembly and then glued on after the fact.

Thanks, Mr. Brian. Do you agree that a water-soaked ceiling should be replaced? As a replacement item, it seems too big to ship! I'm thinking of using the old ceiling as a template for building the replacement. Thoughts?

It really depends. If you caught it early and can get it dried out, then it is typically fine.

If not, then I would at least take the foam off, let the lauan underneath dry out. The foam comes in a roll and is easily shipped
