Adding Solar to a Force

Our 2016 Force has no solar and as far as I can tell no pre-wiring for solar. In summary, what would be involved with adding Solar? I know you need solar panels but my question has more to do with inverters, charging system, switching mechanisms, etc. Is it even feasible? Thanks for any help it's appreciated.

I found 8 gauge wires behind the control panel. They go underneath the rv towards the batteries. I think there are two more near the top of the electronics in the pillar behind the drivers seat. I have not added solar yet. I'll try to find a pic.

The solar controller is separate from your inverter and charger. They can work in unison.

Need panels, wire, solar controller and ideally a good battery monitor.

Check out amsolar.com lots of good info and very helpful people if you want to talk to somebody.

I built frames to mount 600w on my 2016 DX3

I did a 400 watt system from Renogy.
I didnít want anymore holes in my roof so I went with glue down feet. 2 years and 10,000 miles and everything still looks good and working fine.Click image for larger version

I'd like to see a picture of your charge controller and assorted fuses/breakers.

Used inline fuses at each panel. They're wired in parallel and combine at a box on the roof then 2 AWG to the controller. Couple more pics attached

Where did you penetrate your roof for the wiring?

Right next to where the coax goes through the front cap. On the DX3 without cab over its under the false cap thingy. On the cab over I think it goes into the back of the cap. Click image for larger version
