AGS, setup from which device

AGS, should I program thru Precision Plex (seems way easier), or should I program thru Magnum Energy? I see instructions from Dynamax to run things thru the Magnum Energy control, I see how to do so with the Precision Plex as well. Pros/Cons with one or the other?

I wondered if they both in a sense set the same settings, but, after going thru it on the Precision Plex panel, the AGS options in Magnum still appear blank. The dealer, during PDI, walked thru it on the Precision, so I went that way. There's a lot to learn on these things.

Hey Jim, this is the video I spotted when I was first surfing around. It says its good for Isata5, Force HD, DX3 and Your Dynaquest XL. Pretty informative. Hope it helps. Maybe the Precision Plex will sync up once set on the Magnum.

Ya, I’ve seen that one too. It really looks like there’s ability to program from either place. But it also looks like they don’t update each other. I messed around with both of them today to verify. Just wondering if maybe there’s another rj12 type cable missing somewhere else.

Ha, I won't lie I wondered the same thing after seeing the other thread.

I'm assuming it doesn't matter, may be just a way of giving us 'options'.

I would say magnum control to be sure. The magnum we were using did not have RV-C yet (it does today) so the communication from the magnum to the Plex is somewhat clunky. I think you would get more consistent results when setting on the magnum
