Almost here

Well, after almost a month of waiting for the dealership they finally shipped it out and we should have it tomorrow. On the plus side the driver called and said it is getting 10mpg with the cruise set to 65 and never even downshifted going through the mountains in Tennessee. He couldn't believe the great ride and amount of power it had. He joked about probably being able to tow another motorhome for a toad.

I'm just excited I finally get to drive it and start taking some trips with the family. Looks like we will be heading to TX over Father's Day to pick up a golf cart since I can't find anyone to ship it for a reasonable price.

After having just towed a 8,000 lb trailer/jeep through the rockies I can confirm you wont be disappointed with ride or power

Sorry, no. That violates forum rule #6 subsection e. Factory reps cannot accept bribes or gifts in the excess of 1 millions dollars.

Fourwhl-what transmission mode do use when towing your 8k trailer : primary or secondary? I use the secondary mode 90+% of the time and my water temp hovers between 200-225 unless I manually shift down to keep RPMs above 1700-2000. Do you experience high water temps on inclines during tow?

Hmmm I'm a newb and didn't realize there were different modes. I used whatever it starts up in (assume primary)

I did get some heat buildup on the longer / steeper climbs but the fan kicks on (boy is that thing loud) and brings temps down to 190 or so fairly quickly. Once it shuts off temp begins to build again. I don't think they were getting much above 205 or 212 once the fan kicks on.

On flat ground, unless air temp is above 85 the fan never kicks on.
