Anderson Valve Leaking????

I have a small about of water laying between the Anderson valve wall & the floor in the utility compartment. This is a FW model.

Anyone else ever experience this? It just appeared today & I was just curious, before I tear apart that area & try to diagnose the problem. Getting water into the RV, to all the fixtures, is not an issue when the valve is set on city or dry camping. Water pressure is also good.

The amount of water leaking out is minimal, but nevertheless - it needs to get fixed.

would it be easier to remove the entire outside panel (which includes the outdoor faucet) or just the inner part of the Anderson valve? I never had to disassemble this - so I was just curious

Any help would be appreciate. thanks

Could be as simple as a loose fitting behind the panel. I had to tighten the fittings on both our outdoor showers right after purchasing our 2018 Cherokee.

It is either the Anderson valve...which I rarely see leak "externally". I have seen the O-ring get a nick when turned under pressure and can leak "internally" so water goes back into the fresh water tank when on city. Or it could be that faucet. I would also make sure that the hand-held sprayer did not leave that water. Sometimes when you set it in there, there is some residual water in the head.

Pulling the entire panel would let you look at both possible leak points.

Thanks for the replies. I pulled the panel & found that it was a loose fitting for the outdoor shower supply line.

It is funny that the panel says “Kantleak”. But it wasnt the panel, so maybe they are accurate. LOL.

anytime someone changes the spelling of something, they don't really mean it.
Super Phun....likely isn't (I just made that up because while I thought I had tons of examples...I did not). Kountry Cabinets likely aren't from the "Country". "Froot Loops"
