Another RAM truck recall - maybe?

No sign of my Vin on the Mopar site but that could just be their worthless IT organization. But here's hoping the 6 speed diesels are not affected.

If your truck fall into the years listed it will have a recall if its a 1500. All it takes is a software up grade . Later RJD

I've heard that before......
[what it actually means is that they think it will work]

A long shot, however could this solve my issue with the ESC light kicking on and turning the cruise control off for the rest of the day? I've had an alignment, steering aligned etc. I've turned a corner and the ESC light has come on. Typically it's due to strong cross wind. Again, that turns off the cruise control for hours.

They say that things come in 3's. We've recently heard from FORD, and now FCA. Next it will be GM? It seems the more advanced we get, the more problems we encounter. The manufacturers concentrate on the bling and the tech, and the driveability suffers.

I would take it to a Dodge dealer that can handle your size rig and have them check it out. Later RJD

My point was that you may not find out that your vin applies until sometime after the recall becomes effective. Stellantis is in such a mess that it takes them a long time to populate that database for public interrogation. Every one of their brands has a different database format and they each have to be adapted to the Mopar web site protocols which are different from that used by their dealers and by the NTHS.

Yet another reason why AI is so far from practical in the industrial world.

AFAIK, the 5th Gen 1/2 tons have a different electrical architecture than the 4.5 Gen HD pickups and C&C trucks, which are still on the older cab and electrical, so I would wager it will not apply.
