Anyone added a fireplace to a DX3

While at the dealership having some service work done my wife and I went into some of the DX3’s on the lot. Well, she really liked the fireplace/television setup in one of the RVs. The sales guy said we could have it added to our RV, however, the person we should have talked to was not available. My question is, have any of you removed a couch and replaced it with the fireplace/TV. How expensive was it? Are you satisfied with the outcome? Any advice is appreciated. My floorplan (DX3 TS) will fit the factory fireplace.

Is’nt there a window above the couch but when the fireplace is fitted, no window. I have the tv and fireplace and have no window

We have the fireplace with window in our DX3 TS. BTW we really use ours in cold weather. I think I saw a thread many months ago where the user added the fireplace.

Sorry missed the fact it was TS. I was referring to the BH layout.

We have been extremely pleased with our added fire place. I built mine, but you can probably find something that will fit the space you have on the TS model already built. What is the width of the space your looking at putting it in?

We're also looking at making the BH a pop-up TV as well so we don't lose the window.
