Appliance LED lights?

After reading how much wattage a residential refrigerator uses, I thought maybe others have changed out their light bulbs in the refrigerator and microwave? Seems they make LED light bulbs for both? Any other power hungry/inefficient lights on my future rig that can be swapped out?

I’m not sure, but I believe most of the new refrigerators already have LED lights. I’ll check my Samsung tomorrow. My microwave definitely is not LED.

Refrigerator is LED and digital inverter. Cutting edge refrigeration. I believe amp draw for the coach is about a consistent 16 amps due to the inverter compressor. That may help size your solar system. I don't pay to much attention to it as we are almost always plugged in. All other electrical devices are the latest and greatest (except for the microwave lamps).

The compressor is what uses all the juice. The very brief time a fridge light is on when the door is open is a drop in the bucket.

……unless you get to that age where you open the door, and just stare………thinking <Now, what did I come in here for again?>.

That's what the basement door is for. Get to bottom of stairs and stand there trying to remember why you went down there. I think that age was....52?
