If you want I can drive over to storage and look for mine and send you a photo? Don't know when the OP's was built, I'm Jan - May last year on the line.

OK, so I have confirmed. When we moved the electrical to the rear we had an extension harness to get us there quickly. We then redesigned the chassis harness to eliminate the extension harness (way too much info). When the 2nd part happened we changed over to the BIM (Battery Isolation Manager).
I missed it, but that BIM is clearly shown in the 2nd image down.

So a BIM is like a BIRD? By the way my electrical has worked as built. The only changes I made was to add two batteries (27's) and one solar panel. Otherwise as you built it and I have all the electricity I need and no problems. When it was delivered the engine wouldn't start occasionally (weird) and through trouble shooting we figured out it was a loose terminal on one of the starting batteries.

Yes...but instead of the BIRD telling the Solenoid when to latch and unlatch...the BIM eliminates the Solenoid and is all-in-one.
I am trying to get the spec sheet on it and will post it in its own thread. Designed with RV;s in mind and not an assembly other other parts.

In an area with better service now. Apparently my 36DS posted twice.
So is the moral of the story that there is nothing to adjust and or monitor with the BIM setup?

Well, there was never anything to adjust, even on the BIRD. As for monitor, that can be monitored from the voltage read out.
I guess I would say, if the Truck started after the third try or so....then I would think it was not the battery, but something within the truck itself (I know sometimes the steering wheel can be not quite locked out and it won't start...on other cars. I have not experienced this on the RAM).
As long as the batteries are properly charging...that's all the monitoring it would need.

Looks like we have the BIM 225. No lights, no switches, no worries.
