Attaching interior hooks on Isata5 30FW

Does anyone have experience mounting hooks on the interior walls of a 2018 Isata 5 30FW? I would like to put a half dozen in hooks for hanging coats and clothes. I prefer to use screws and am concerned about hitting something in the wall or not getting a good bite into something solid in the wall. Thanks.

The the 15 lb Command Strip hooks. I used those in the bathroom and my wife hangs her hefty makeup bag on it and no problem. I am sure it will hold more than 15 lbs, just what they are “rated” to hold.

You better hope she doesn’t read the forum here.

You may want to go out to the Dynamax Facebook page and look through the in progress pictures of the I5, quite a few pictures of exposed walls with pipe/wire routings as well as locations of furring strips and wood mounting blocks etc. those pictures that show the best angles I copy and keep for future reference in case I wish to do the same as you, ‘screw things up’ vs glue etc!!

Command Strips work great and they are easy to move. Put them almost anywhere with out worry about what is on the other side of the wall. Make sure to clean surface you are mounting them on. Keep in mind they can let go.

Using Command Hooks

We have used command hooks in our trailer and most seems to work great. We have had some issues with some of the hooks pulling the wall paper off the wood but most of the time the command hoods have worked great.

While Command products are by far my favorite, I have a set of 6 hooks that hang over the bathroom door and will hold about anything. Would recommend that the inside part of the hooks be lined with something to prevent scratching as they might move a bit when underway.

Clean the wall first with rubbing alcohol. For the most part sticks well.
